Twos and Young Threes
This classroom offers the small group size and higher level of teacher support that best meets the developmental needs of the youngest preschoolers. Two teachers and a full-time aide work with a balanced group of twelve two- and three-year-olds. Children must be at least two years and six months old to attend. Children do not need to be potty trained. The group remains together for an entire year before joining the older preschool classroom.
Older Threes, Fours and Fives
Four teachers, a full-time aide and a part-time aide work with 28 children in our large, open classroom. In this balanced mixed age group of three- through five-year-olds, older and younger children work and play together for the majority of the day. During small group time, teachers provide experiences targeted to the children's age and developmental stage.
