tours | registration forms & fees | waitlist | tuition | scholarship | nondiscriminatory policy
The first step in our enrollment process is to tour the Center with the Director to learn more about the program. Tours are generally given at 10:00 a.m. and must be scheduled in advance. We recommend that you do not bring your child with you on the tour. To schedule a tour, please call (703)528-1361 or email info@clarendonchildcarecenter.org.
At the end of the tour, you will be provided with an application form. When we have received your completed application form and registration fee, your child will be placed on the waitlist. The registration fee is $75 for each child in your family. All registration fees are non-refundable and non-transferable.
You may place your child on the waitlist at any time. Most openings occur at the beginning of our school year, the Tuesday after Labor Day. Families of children who will be of an age to start in September will be provided an update of their status on the waitlist the preceding January. Spots will then be offered in March. Families have 48 hours to accept an opening. A non-refundable deposit of two weeks tuition is due at the time of acceptance. Mid-year openings are filled from the waitlist at the time the spot becomes available. Your child can remain on the waitlist for any length of time and will be removed only when requested or when your child becomes too old to attend CCCC.
Siblings of current and former CCCC students, as well as children of CCCC alumni, receive preference for any openings appropriate to their age. A balance of genders and ages is maintained in both classrooms. Otherwise, spots are offered to families strictly according to place on the waitlist. The Clarendon Child Care Center welcomes children of all races, religious and ethnic backgrounds and is inclusive of children with special needs.
